Melinoe's Room

Melinoe led Esmeralda back to her home, Chompers slung over her opposite shoulder. She walked up to her condo and let go of Esmeralda's hand long enough to find the keys, unlock the door, and open it. She then lead the woman into her room, let go of her hand and set Chompers down on the floor. She straightened and turned to face Esmeralda and said softly, "Make yourself at home. I'm gonna go clean up." She turned and went into the bathroom.

Esme followed Mel closely, keeping a firm hold on their laced fingers. Mel's home was beautiful, inside was no different. Mel led her into her bedroom, setting the animal on her shoulder down and saying to make herself at home while she cleaned up. Esme looked around, walking farther inside and sitting on the bed. She removed her shoes, not wanting to be rude as Chompers came over to curl up at the end of the bed. Esme lifted her feet to sit Indian style, legs crossed over one another.

In the bathroom Melinoe had brushed her teeth and the moved on to wash her face. She examined the bruise in the mirror, carefully touching around it. After a moment she sighed and walked out of the bathroom, flicking the light off as she did. She walked into her room and saw Esmeralda sitting on her bed. She smiled softly at the girl and went over and sat on the opposite side of the bed, taking her boots off as she did before pulling her legs up and actually sitting back. She stared up at the ceiling, feeling somewhat awkward since one of her eyes had calmed down and dulled back to brown, while the other was still reptilian. "I said he missed me...He didn't. He shot me. And I didn't fall in the woods." Her voice was soft as she spoke. "I lied."

Esme looked up as the lights shut off, feeling weight shift on the mattress as Melinoe lay down beside her. She began telling the truth, how he didn't miss when he shot her and didn't fall in the woods. The artist shifted her weight, leaning her head over Mel's with a smile.
"I'm just glad you're okay...for the most part."
Esme softly brushed a piece of hair out of Mel's face, rubbing her other hand on her shoulder. The muscles were tense there.

"Yeah, well...A croc's got some tough skin." She told the truth about how she had gotten the bruise now. With Esmeralda leaning over her she no longer stared up at the ceiling but stared up at her face instead. Her head tilted slightly when the woman brushed the hair from her face, and carefully she moved to hold gently onto her forearms as she rubbed at her shoulder.

Esme nodded smiling still, now using both hands to rub her shoulders. She leaned down to kiss Melinoe's forehead, leaning back up to keep rubbing her shoulders.
"You're so tense."
Chompers curled up in the corner, letting the two of them be alone in the darkness. Esme was still in her grungy clothes, covered in black from charcoal.

Melinoe's eyes closed as Esmeralda leaned down and pressed lips against her forehead. They opened back up after and she gazed up at her. "I hear that happens when you've got a stick up your ass." She joked around with the woman rubbing her shoulders. She sighed softly and kept her gentle hold on Esmeralda's arms. She was beginning to relax some though.

Esme laughed at Mel's comment about the stick, a wide smile on her face. She moved her hand to rub the back of Mel's neck, right along the spine to relax all the muscles. The darkness made it a little hard to see, but Esme could see Mel clearly enough to see she was relaxing. She leaned down to kiss Mel's cheek again, letting her hands rest on her shoulders.

Melinoe's head lifted just slightly as Esmeralda moved her hand to the back of her neck. Another sigh escaped from her lips, but when Esme kissed her cheek Melinoe shifted so that she could look at the woman's face once more. She moved her hand to brush at the side of the woman's face before cupping her cheek gently, the hybrid made no other moves than that though.

Mel sighed contently and looked over at her when he kissed her cheek. One hand lifted to cup the side of her face, making Esme smile gently. Her left hand moved from it's place on her shoulder to hold the hand closer to her skin, nuzzling her palm softly. Her right hand softly brushed the side of Mel's face, her cheek was soft.

The eye closest to where Esmeralda's hand brushed her face shut, leaving the reptilian eye open to watch the woman that was leaning over her. A smile crossed over her lips, and slowly Melinoe allowed her other hand to travel up Esmeralda's arm to the side of her neck. Leaning up slightly Melinoe brought her face closer to Esmeralda's and pressed her lips very gently against the other woman's.

Mel's hand slid it's way up to the side of her neck, bringing her down to kiss her softly. Esme's eye fell shut as she returned the kiss, her hand lying still on Mel's cheek. Her thumb brushed the skin, tilting her head to the side so the kiss was more comfortable. Her other hand took hold of Mel's, lacing their fingers together.

Melinoe closed her fingers gently around Esmeralda's and her other eye fell shut with the other. The hand that rested on the side of her neck slid its way around to the back to bring the woman a bit closer, but she held her loosely enough that she could move away if she decided to. Melinoe wouldn't force Esme to do anything. She wasn't that type of person.

Esme ran a hand over Mel's hair, letting the strand slip between her fingers. Esme pulled away softly, shifting to sit next to Mel and hold onto Mel. She kissed her again, rubbing the other cheek as she held onto it. The darkness around them was soothing, and mingled well with the mood in lingering in the room. Esme was happy, happy to see Melinoe so happy.

Melinoe's eyes slowly opened as Esme pulled away from the kiss, the eye that had still been reptilian finally calming down and beginning to fade to normal. Melinoe made a small noise as Esme's lips met hers again and she leaned into the kiss a bit, moving so that her arm rested gently around her neck as an eyebrow arched slightly.

Esme smiled, pulling from her lips and kissing along her jaw line slowly. Her arms wound around Melinoe's neck, running her fingers through her hair. Her leg slid up to loop over her legs, sitting still as Esme tested the waters. She didn't want to put Mel in a situation she wouldn't like. Esme pulled Mel a little closer, deepening the kiss.

Melinoe's breathing picked up slightly and she situated herself into each movement that Esme made. She wasn't bothered in the least, and found things rather interesting with this woman. There didn't really seem to be anything that Esme could do to actually make her uncomfortable. She shifted her body forward as Esme's leg wrapped around hers and she was pulled closer. Once more her eyes closed and she returned the kiss yet again.

Mel adjusted to her body, Esme sliding her leg all the way over to straddle her hips. Esme ran a hand through Mel's hair, letting the other rub at her ribs. She was comfortable, very comfortable - especially with Mel's breath not tasting of blood and flesh. The hand rubbing her ribs moved to the hem of her shirt, letting her fingers slip over her skin. They stopped at her stomach, rubbing the skin gently.

Casually Melinoe placed a hand on Esme's thigh when she was done moving it and gripped onto it gently. She moved her head away from the kiss and opened her eyes to glance down at Esme's hand, the muscles of her abdomen tightening some as her fingers rubbed against the skin. She tilted her head back up to look in Esme's eyes a moment before leaning forward so their lips met once more, her kiss still soft, but a bit deeper this time.

Esme shivered softly as Mel touched her thigh, frowning as she pulled form the kiss for a moment. A smile returned to her face as she kissed her again, her hand rubbing her bare ribs gently. Her other hand still traced through her long black hair, her fingers rubbing softly against her scalp. Curiously she slid her tongue over Mel's lip, her hand moving up slightly higher.

Melinoe adjusted her grip on Esme's thigh and pulled slightly to bring her a bit closer. She felt the woman's tongue run over her lip and she tilted her head to the side slightly and opened her mouth while moving her tongue to meet Esme's. Her other hand moved then, pressing against the small of Esme's back, but not moving anywhere else as of then. The creeping of Esme's hand didn't bother Melinoe in the least, actually it kind of excited her.

Mel tilted her head to the side, her tongue meeting with Esme's. A shiver went down Esme's spine, feeling Mel put her hand on the small of her back to move her closer. Her hand rubbed her ribs again, letting her other rest on her waist. Esme's face turned a soft red, feeling herself heat up.

A soft, short, and contented moan came from Melinoe as she moved her tongue around with Esme's. Her hand tightened on her thigh slightly, and her other one crept down slightly to her butt, getting a good but gentle feel before squeezing lightly and pulling her in even closer. She moved her mouth away from Esme's to catch her breath slightly before moving back in once more.

Melinoe smiled softly and leaned to press her lips gently against Esme's for a moment before straightening up and removing herself from on top of the other woman. She slid out of the bed then, and glanced over her shoulder at Esme, giving her a smile while saying softly. "I'm gonna get it ready. You can take your time if you'd like." She turned then and walked out of the room and into the bathroom.
